Description

The Beginning of the Graduate Program in 1952. On the sixteenth day of May, 1950, the Iowa State Board of Education (now known as the Iowa State Board of Regents) entered into a contract with George D. Strayer for the conduct of a survey of the three institutions of higher education under the control of the Board. On October 19, 1950 George D. Strayer and his associates submitted the Report of a Survey of the Institutions of Higher Learning in the State of Iowa.
