Abstract

What happens when two people “click”? This project explores how and why people feel close to each other, to learn about how counseling professionals can build rapport, one of the most influential factors in whether psychotherapy succeeds. With linguistic and meta-analyses, the project maps evolving ideas and knowledge about rapport.
