Susan Hill

Information about Lecturer

Susan Hill is Professor of Religion and Head of the Department of Philosophy and World Religions at UNI. Before becoming department head, she was the Founding Director of UNI’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Her research interests in the field of religious studies focus primarily on the intersections between religious belief and cultural expression, and she has published articles on the authors George Eliot and Willa Cather, translation theory, pedagogy. She is also the author of Eating to Excess: The Meaning of Gluttony and the Fat Body in the Ancient World (Praeger, 2011).
