Abstract
- Caves are the closest natural biomes on Earth that are similar to space conditions
- These extreme & isolated environments provide an opportunity to simulate science and exploration that would take place on other planets
- Saturn’s moon, Titan, is one of the most known Earth like planets, consisting of karst like environments like to caves here
- Dependable and accurate instruments are fundamental for further exploration and obtaining knowledge in unfamiliar and extreme places
- Health and the ability to monitor that of those working in these conditions is also of the highest priority
- Portable Bluetooth probes are used to collect data on water and air which can determine quality and what type of organisms can and are possibly surviving in areas throughout the cave
- A Portable human studies kit was used to monitor the biometrics of cavers throughout expeditions
