Description
Alt text: The back of a used vintage postcard. In the top right corner, a green one-cent U.S. postage stamp depicts George Washington. To the left of the stamp is a circular black postmark from McDonald, Pennsylvania, dated March 4, 1913. The postcard is divided into two sections by a vertical line. The right side is addressed to Susana Fischer, Washington, R. D. 2, Box 18. The left side and the top area contain a handwritten message in pencil. The text reads: "Just wait Susana until us women get our rights, an example on the other side. I received your card." It is signed, "McDonald." Below is written, "Dear Friend, I heard you was sick but hope this will find you well again." It is signed, "Friend Grace." A small red circular copyright stamp showing, "S. Bergman, New York, 1912" is visible in the lower left corner. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
