A small publisher's illustration in the upper left corner shows a woman's profile next to the words "Post Card." Handwritten text on the left reads: "Dear kiddos, I am very much put out today as David left yesterday for Springfield Ill. Well how are you? Suppose your not over the fairs yet. Yours, Mary." The card is addressed to Anna Bastendorf in Manning, Iowa. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
