Alt text: The back of a used postcard postmarked Montezuma, Iowa, June 18, featuring a green one-cent U.S. postage stamp. A handwritten message in the correspondence section reads, "Montezuma, Iowa, R. R. 4. Dear Neva receivedd your most welcome card Monday O.K. I have been about sick. I have been having kidney trouble so bad, I can hardly walk. I have been going to school out here too. I want to finish the eighth grade this winter. We have moved again on a farm. You folks knew Bealeys that lived in Grinnell didn't you? They are one of our nearest neighbors. Answer soon." It is signed with the initials, "V. R." The postcard is addressed to Miss Neva Buskirk, South Bend, Nebraska. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
