Description
Alt text: The back of a postcard features a green one-cent stamp and a postmark from 1912. It is addressed to Mrs. Wallace Lewis in La Plata, Missouri. A handwritten message reads: "Dear Lillie, Just a few lines to let you know we are still alive. I have wanted to write but can not find the time. How are you and baby. I hope well. I am well and the baby is good. He is growing real fast. Lizzie Luard Holgate and Gertie Greer each have a baby girl. Maggie expects a letter from you. I suppose you are busy enough." It is signed, "Allie." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
