Description
Alt text: The back of a postcard features a green one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp and a postmark from Ohio dated 1908. It is addressed to Miss Nettie E. Vail in Youngstown, Ohio, Station A. A handwritten message on the left side reads: "Nettie - 2-6-08. Rained all day yesterday. Streets were all slush - (snow and water) It is colder this morning. I am well and feeling fine - dandy this morning. I had to work yesterday. Glad of it too. I certainly was getting tired doing nothing at all but read and study. Can you imagine me dropping the milk pitcher and cleaning up as this fellow is dining? Ha! Ha! With best wishes." The left border reads, ""Bamforth and Company Publishers, Holmfirth, England, and New York." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
