Alt text: The back of a used postcard with a green half-penny stamp and a postmark from Taunton dated October 16, 1908. A small publisher's logo of a clown is printed at the top center under the words "Burlesque Series." A handwritten message on the left reads, "Dear E, Thanks for your post card. You are having as long as I did nearly 8 weeks by the time you have finished. You are the lucky one. I came away for a long holiday didn't I. Give my love to all. From your brother, Billy." It is addressed to Miss E. Emery, 2 Badcox, Frome, Somerset. The left border shows printed text, "Burlesque Series no. 77, copyright." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
