Alt text: The back of a used postcard with a green one-cent postage stamp and a Topeka, Kansas, postmark dated January 29, 1912. The text "Post Card" is printed top center, with a circular H. R. S. Company logo below. The top left features a blue "Votes for Women" stamp. A handwritten message in cursive reads, "Dear Aunt Emma, This is Kansas Day. I have been expecting to write you for some time but neglected to do so. We are all well. Are you expecting to come East? If so, make arrangement to pay us all a visit as we want to see you. With love from all, Emmett E. Roudebush." The right side is addressed to Mrs. Emma L. Burson, 1228 Ardmore St. Los Angeles, California, with a previous address "32 and Key West" crossed out. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
