Description
Alt text: The back of a vintage postcard. A line down the center divides the card. The right side is labeled, "Address only." A stamp appears to have been applied in the upper right, but has been torn off. A handwritten message is labeled Mt. Vernon, Iowa, August 30, 1912. The message reads, "Dear Hazel, how you was? Just think, I had two days vacation so am felling pretty good. We don't need to feel bad any more because we didn't get to Central City. I saw several the other day at Coggon that were there and every one said it was no good. Nothing doing. The committee had a quarrel the night before so the didn't try to have anything. I had such a good time C. I will want to go back next year." It is signed, "Sara K." The address on the card has been marked over with black marker. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
