A one-cent U.S. postage stamp is in the top right corner, along with a postmark showing Sherman, New York, May 13, 1914, 11 a.m. A double line divides the left side, labeled "This side for correspondence," from the right side, which is labeled "This side for address." Handwritten text on the left side reads, "Dear Marjorie, I got pretty tired coming home. It took me several days to get rested up. The girls got a new bed for me. It is a cot bed. I have it in the parlor. I can not get out much it is so raiiny. How is school going? Did you get so you could do those examples? Mother has her garden all in. Our sweet peas are up. I have had lots of company and lots to eat." It is signed, "Alice." The right side is addressed to Miss Marjorie Holmberg, Falconer, New York. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
