Description
Alt text: An anti-suffrage postcard with a red border features a sepia-toned photograph of a man wearing a kitchen apron and holding a feather duster, slumped over in a chair with his head drooping, clearly exhausted. A woman, elegantly dressed in a high-collared dress and a large, elaborate hat, stands beside him, pulling his head up by the hair. A bucket is on the floor beside the man. The room's mantelpiece, above a fireplace, has a clock on it. The text at the top of the postcard reads, "Where women vote. There is no rest." There is handwritten text along the bottom border that reads, "Will it ever come to this?" Vertical handwritten text on the right border reads, "I hope not." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
