The left half contains a handwritten message which includes the text "Dear Laura, would of come up to work but did not know you were home. Bill said he sees you. Mother has been sick for 7 weeks. Al is sick now. Come down. Lena." The right half has a handwritten address for "Miss Laura [illegible], 1025 Chestnut Street, Duquesne, Pennsylvania." The top right has a green one-cent George Washington stamp. The top left features a printed coat of arms design logo showing the head of a stag with the notation, "T P and Company" below. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
