Description
Alt text: The back of a vintage postcard. The top center reads "post card." A vertical line divides the card into "this space for correspondence" on the left and "this space for name and address" on the right. The left half contains a handwritten message which includes the text "Dear Sister: We have a bub working for us now. We all a went to G.D. while pappa came home on the 12:38 with bub. He married and has a wife and three children. I have a new white dress. Papa is plowing corn now." The right half has a handwritten address for "Miss Alma Scott, York, Nebraska, General delivery." A circular postmark is visible showing, "Phillips, June 25." The top right has a green one-cent George Washington stamp. The top left features a printed coat of arms design logo showing the head of a stag with the notation, "T P and Company" below. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
