Alt text: The image shows the back of a vintage postcard with ornate brown decorative designs around the words “POST CARD” at the top center and a shield-like emblem with the letters “B” and “Co.” A green postage halfpenny stamp featuring a portrait is affixed in the upper right corner, partially overlapped by a circular postmark. The postcard is addressed to Mr. Ted John, C/O Miss James, 1H Clarence Terrace, Swansea. The message reads, "Dear Ted, Received your P.C. Glad to hear you are dry. Fine weather here every afternoon, but awful wet in nights and mornings. Am sending you a sandwich from Hirwain. There's not much ham in it, but there's plenty of mustard. Not much enjoyment for me this holidays, Misses ill in bed. Will." At the top, a short note reads “give my love to Dad.” A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
