Alt text: The back of a postcard is covered with handwritten text in dark ink. A green one cent U.S. postage stamp is affixed in the upper right corner, with a Louisville, Kentucky postmark dated Decmeber 2, 1908. The postcard is addressed 20 West 98th Street, New York City. A message is handwritten on the left, some of it illegible, but mentions "Dear Sis & Bro," "scraps," "all are fine here," "thanks so much for the photos," "picture theatre," and ends with "lots of love from all, Alma." A blue number "0609" is stamped near the bottom center. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
