Alt text: The back of a postcard is covered with handwritten text in blue ink. The words post card are printed at the top. A green one cent U.S. postage stamp is affixed in the upper right corner. A circular New York postmark is partially visible, dated November 5, 1911. The postcard is addressed to Mrs. John Quincy Ryan, 114 Cedar Avenue, Elyria, Ohio. A message reads: "235 Lafayette Street New York, Nov. 3, 1911. My Dear Mrs. Ryan, your card duly rec'd. I was pleased to hear from you and trust that you are well and that you are active in the cause represented on other side of this card as an intelligent Catholic women should march forward in every progressive movement. Sincerely yours, Margaret-Finn." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
