Abstract
Much has been said about what ought to be done about venereal diseases. Nearly everyone agrees that more education on the subject is needed, but that is about as far as it goes in at least ninety-nine cases out of a hundred. The result is that much erroneous information is surreptitiously passed about. Some young people have an abnormal fear of venereal disease and live in dread of acquiring it from all kinds of objects. Others, and this group is entirely too large, treat the subject entirely too lightly, and fail to respect the dangers involved.
