Abstract

The completion of the 100-year history of the Academy in the fall of 1974 led to the current practice of writing a running history on a year-to-year basis, in the form of the Annual Report. The Board of Directors decided in the fall of 197 5 to publish the Annual Report in the PROCEEDINGS. Recent committee reports and Board minutes, from which most of this report derives, are on file in the Academy office. Records older than 1975 are in the Special Collections section of the Iowa State University Library, constituting the official archives of the Academy.
