Abstract
From June 10 to November 17, 1966, 31 species of fish were recorded from the Skunk River above Ames. Length frequencies indicate the seasonal growth of Notropis cornutus, N. lutrensis, Pimephales notatus, and P. promelas. Species associated with headwater, riffle, pool and main channel are listed.
