Abstract
Cultures of twenty-five selected soil fungi were assayed for fungistatic effects on Pythium graminicolum mycelium. All cultures demonstrated some degree of inhibition. Several were strongly inhibitory. Cultures of six of the more fungistatic fungi were enclosed in dialyzer tubing, and their effects on growing P. graminicolum mycelium observed. All retarded growth markedly.
