Abstract
Mineral inclusions found in geodes from the Warsaw formation of southeastern Iowa are described. The following are reported as present: quartz, chalcedony, calcite, dolomite, ankerite, barite, aragonite, smithsonite, iron pyrite, marcasite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, sulfur, goethite, hematite, pyrolusite, kaolinite, malachite, selenite, and limonite. Tenorite and chalcocite have been tentatively identified.
