Abstract
All species of Cuscuta in temperate zones are commonly described as annuals, although certain members of this genus have been reported as frequently and perhaps characteristically perennial in these regions. Perennial species of dodder are supposedly restricted to tropical regions, and of these Cuscuta reflexa Roxb. is often cited as an example. Details as to the mode of perennation of tropical dodders are often lacking or incompletely presented.
