Abstract
The State Conservation Commission has investigated the waterfowl kill in Iowa during each open season since 1948. This study has established the species composition of the total waterfowl bag taken in Iowa during the open season, and the percentage of each species taken. In addition, the number of hours required by the average. Iowa waterfowl hunter to take a duck or goose has been determined for each of the three open seasons. An analysis of the data for these three years is in order.
