Abstract
The assumption is that the clairvoyant (fortune-teller) can guess accurately personality facts concerning an individual. Readings are given in devious ways. The most common forms are crystal gazing. use of cards, use of tea leaves. and sometimes a combination with palmistry. Individuals are usually so curious, or in such an excitable or careless state of mind that reported findings from such persons are very inaccurate. In order to get at an analysis of the whole procedure as objectively as possible a plan was devised.
