Abstract
During the past year I have continued to maintain the bird trapping station in the back yard at my home in Iowa City for the purpose of securing birds for banding. This station was established in 1920 and has been in more or less constant operation since that time. By means of two government sparrow traps I have taken between January 1, 1924, and December 18, 1924, the period covered by this report, a total of 1 45 birds representing fourteen species. In 1923 a total of 112 individuals representing but six species was taken.
