Abstract
It seems important to gain a knowledge of the substances that come down in the rains and snows on account of the agricultural and hygenic significance. Similar work has been carried on for some time in the chemical laboratories of Cornell College and in many other places. Our special purpose is to determine the amounts of nitrogen compounds, chlorine, and sulphates in the rains and snows of this locality.
