Abstract

During the summer of 1923 and the 1923-24 school year the author has been classifying the Odonata of Henry County. Much of the material had been collected several seasons ago by various students. The collecting was done along the railroad tracks, around meadows and ponds, up creeks and sloughs and along the Skunk River. All specimens studied are in the Iowa Wesleyan College collection. The classifications were verified by Mr. E. B. Williamson of Bluffton, Indiana.
