Abstract
The study of the equilibrium between bromine and the uni-univalent bromides, more especially potassium bromide, in aqueous solution has been the subject of numerous investigations. It has become a generally accepted idea that an ionizable compound is formed of the type, KBr + Br2 = KBr’ Br2.
