Abstract
The herpetology of Iowa is still so little known that material from the state is greatly to be desired, particularly if it comes in the form of extensive collections from particular localities. The writer has, through the kindness of Prof. H. W. Norris of Grinnell College, been able to examine such a collection from the vicinity of Grinnell, Poweshiek County, and the results seem to be of sufficient interest to warrant publication.
