Abstract
The researches of Hartig, Tubeuf, Metcalf, Von Schrenk, and others have shown that quite a large number of wood destroying fungi belong to the Agaricaceac, Hypochnaceae, Polyporaceae, Hydnanceae, and Thelephoraceae.
