Abstract
In the summer of 1907 a series of four wells were sunk within a radius of fifteen feet on the campus of Simpson College, giving the best record which it has been possible to obtain in the county. This record, made as the material was removed, is here presented in detail. It serves as a typical record down to the Aftonian, beyond which the deposits described are not commonly reported within the county. The surface of the well is at 970 feet, A. T.
