Abstract
Examination of various waters in. Sioux City has been carried on at intervals during the past year. It will be observed by comparison with analyses of former years that there has been great fluctuation in the detrimental characters of the city water. During the past fall, for several months, the albuminoid ammonia reached and passed the danger limit. This is the first time this has been noted since this series of analyses was begun, although it was pointed out in an article published in the Sioux City Tribune over a year ago that this was likely to take place at some time in the future.
