Uprising

Uprising Magazine is a campus leader in publications at the University of Northern Iowa, combining aspects of social justice, fashion, arts, and culture together via a student-run magazine. Uprising Magazine uses its platform to create discourse and empower voices from the campus and the local community through its publication. This organization works towards its mission to provide topics through authentic storytelling for discussion along with follow-up actions for readers. Uprising Magazine provides students with opportunities to combine the mediums of fashion, journalism, photography, graphic design, and marketing into a professional magazine, printing once per semester accompanied by a digital release.
