Malcolm Price Laboratory School Documents

This collection contains a variety of material associated with the University of Northern Iowa's teacher-training (laboratory) school. The school itself reflected the university's name changes through the years (Iowa State Teachers College; State College of Iowa). In 1957 a new building complex to be used as the laboratory school for the campus was completed. In 1959 the school was dedicated as the Price Laboratory School, named in honor of Malcolm Price, president of Iowa State Teachers College from 1940 to 1950. Price Laboratory School was closed in 2012. Other types of Price Laboratory School material is also available in UNI ScholarWorks.

Material of the type found in this collection can also be found in print format in Special Collections & University Archives. For more information, see the finding aid for this specific collection.
