Abstract

At the spring Short Course for Science Teachers at Iowa State University in Ames, Richard L. Sweeney, biology teacher and chairman of the Science Department of Hoover High School in Des Moines, was presented a plaque, given in recognition of his outstanding service to the Iowa Science Teachers Section of the Iowa Academy of Science.
