Abstract

There is no shortage of information and misinformation about sex education; however, it is difficult to determine which information is based upon more than personal bias and experience. Educators profess to educate children in those aspects of behavioral change which are based upon the needs of the students. The assumption is that if a need exists that is not otherwise being met, the schools must satisfy that need. Is sex education such a need?
