Abstract
The University of Iowa is announcing the 30th annual Iowa Junior Science and Humanities Symposium to be held February 21 and 22, 1992. Approximately 200 students and 40 teachers will be invited to interact with renowned scientists and professors on present and future issues concerning our science-based society. In addition, the statewide symposium will enable 16 student presenters to share their research endeavors and compete for the opportunity to be one of five finalists invited, all expenses paid, to attend the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium. There the top finalist will present his or her report and compete for a chance to participate in the World Symposium.
