Abstract

Each year the Iowa Academy of Science recognizes outstanding science educators in the State of Iowa through an Excellence in Science Teaching Awards Program. The recipients of the 1979 Awards were: Jean Heibult, Sister Catherine Jean Hayen, Reverend Leonard A. Kenkel, Floyd Sturtevant, John Verdon, and Ronald Newland.
