Abstract
Randall Schluter may be right that recent authors like Dinesh D'Souza, David Reiff, and John Searle have overstated the condition of the control of political correctness on college and university campuses in this country. Yet, current attempts to create politically correct education, which fosters leftist ideological agendas, appears to repress many student's desire to sincerely participate in their education. Schluter's presentation of the politically correct classroom and syllabi is sanitized and palatable. Often, reality is different. Schluter even admits that politically correct instructors, such as himself, "champion one's own insight" and criticizes the instruction of oppressive courses, such as the evil Western Civilization.
