Abstract
Often times we hear of internships or co-op programs for students with companies and corporations. But do students really benefit from such programs, or would they be better back in the classroom under instructor supervision? As a college senior in Speech Communication, I spent my last semester interning with a corporation. I would like to address the above question with this paper. First, a description of my position will be given, and secondly, an evaluation of the pros and cons of my internship experience.
