Abstract

Making effective use of the technology available in a school is a vital issue in light of the tremendous amount of public resources devoted to its purchase. Schools that are not effectively using the technology they have available do so at their peril, for the message sent is extremely damaging to the students’ learning and to the public's perception of the school. Fortunately, there are ways to encourage a more complete use of the technology that schools have available. When done well, effects spread into other areas. Here is how it is done at our school. I believe there are lessons here for others.
