Abstract
Schools are adding technology at an increasing rate. At first the goal was to get computers. As schools purchased more computers, the advantages of networking became apparent. CD-ROMS have had a major impact upon curriculum and upon media centers. Library automation, multimedia presentations, and on-line services have opened new worlds of opportunities for both students and educators. As great as these advances are, funding technology is a growing concern and constitutes a very real barrier for most schools. How can schools cope with the funding issue?
