Abstract
With the information superhighway running through our backyard, teachers have little choice-either they hop on and explore, or they continue to walk the path traveled too often. Today's teachers are doing a tremendous job preparing students for the industrial age. Students of today are expected to produce a product. The product must be accurate and completed in a specified time. Although this approach worked well in the past, it is time to put it to rest. Teachers of today must better prepare our students to survive in a world of technology. The use of Internet in schools would be a step in the right direction.
