Abstract
Use of the Internet and other branches of the National Information Infrastructure (NII) in our schools will demand a concerted effort from every facet of the global community. Before that can happen, we must enlighten our teachers, administrators, boards, students, and community. What are the benefits that use of the NII would produce? What could that vision be? Al Gore (1994), Vice President of the United States, gave us a glimpse of that vision in his NII Executive Summary.
