Abstract
Feminisms and argumentation intersect around three questions. Is argument inherently patriarchal? If not, then what models of feminist argumentation exist and in what ways do feminist theories inform argumentation analyses? Although feminists are right to critique the masculinist assumptions of most argument styles and forms, argumentation is necessary for productive feminist politics, and feminisms can be productive for the analysis of argumentation.
