Abstract
A method is presented whereby two or more structural models may be compared, or combined, or both. It is demonstrated, using expansion and application of a theorem dealing with the adjacency characteristics of directed graphs, that such comparing and/or combining activities can be accomplished with data already generated in the process of synthesizing the models. Three situations where this method seems particularly profitable are discussed. An illustration of how the method has been applied in a real problem setting is provided.
