Abstract
A new species of tick, Ixodes copei is described from Jamaica. Hosts were the Mockingbird, Mimus polyglottos and White-eyed Thrush, Turdus jamaicensis. Records also are given for Amblyomma cajennense (Fabricius), Anocentor nitens (Neumann), Boophilus microplus (Canestrini), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (Latreille). © 1980 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
